11:45AM UPDATE  The FPL failure this morning destroyed a piece of equipment inside of our Auto Transfer Switch. I am awaiting the arrival and report from the appropriate technician. Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA for restoration. Please check back for updates

This morning shortly before 8AM the building went dark from an FPL related trouble. Power has been at least partially restored but this has left the elevators non-functional. It appears at this point that there may  not enough voltage to run the elevators.

We are focusing on restoring function as quickly as possible, We apologize for the inconvenience

Hurricane Sandy update. Thursday morning update

The building is OPEN, normal business hours, all services are expected to be in place.

At this point the track of Sandy keeps the storm well away form mainland Florida. While Some rain is expected in short passing bursts most of Sandy’s impact to the area will be wind related. Thursdays gusts are expected to reach 35mph increasing overnight into Friday where peak gusts could touch 55mph.

Please use caution when driving, these winds are strong, just not strong enough to merit closing the buildings.

Re: September 3, 2012 – Labor Day

Please note that the Building will be closed Monday, September 3, 2012, in observance of Labor Day.  There will be no routinely provided services on that day, including Janitorial Services and  Air Conditioning.

Should you have any concerns or need assistance on Monday, please call the management office at 561-835-1443 and follow the prompts to forward you to the Manager.

Update MONDAY morning 8:45 AM 8/27/2012.

The building is open today and is 100% operational including FPL service, phone, and internet.

However it should be noted that Palm Beach and Broward county schools are closed today. Conditions are generally improving and will continue to do so throughout the day. There is a wind advisory warning in effect throughout the rest of the day.

Heavy rain will continue today as bands pass however the wind speeds should peak at approx. half of yesterdays velocity. These conditions are very similar to what is expected to be found in a typical S. Florida afternoon thunderstorm, therefore the buildings are open.

Roads could flood periodically in lower areas. Please be safe with your travels. We can not guarantee connectivity of data/phone/FPL today and repair response time are expected to be slower then usual. Please consider this as you make your decision on the day day.

The New system is up and running perfectly, If you have not yet received a card please complete an online form here: FILL OUT THE FORM, learn about your options for CREDENTIALS (new cards or keyfobs) purchase your credentials , and even PAY with PAYPAL if you choose.

Monday Feb 27 2012. Boca Financial will undergo its Semi-annual fire alarm certification test. The work is scheduled to be performed between the hours of 8:00 -11:30 am.

Testing will require periodic sounding of the alarm. During this period it is NOT necessary to evacuate the building. If an actual evacuation becomes necessary, it will be announced over the PA system. We apologize for the disruption the noise will create, it is unfortunately necessary and required.
